The numbers below reflect identified breaches of the Astellas Group Code of Conduct that were reported to Ethics & Compliance (E&C) and substantiated through our global investigations process. The term “substantiated” includes any such matter in which at least one alleged breach was confirmed in whole or in part during the reporting year, regardless of when the matter was opened. In some instances, the Astellas Group Code of Conduct establishes higher standards than what is legally required, so the number of substantiated breaches may be higher than what Astellas is required to report to individuals or government authorities.
