Astellas Policies establish the important rules, principles, and management responsibility of the overall Astellas group worldwide (referred to as Astellas in the documents). Astellas Pharma has defined a Quality Policy in terms of information by canvassing or prospecting aimed at promoting medicines, which is part of the company's quality approach and commitment as well as the rules of ethics to which all Astellas employees in contact with healthcare professionals are subject.
Gender equality index
From now on, equal pay for equivalent positions between women and men in companies is subject to an obligation of results, and no longer simply an obligation of means.
With the Gender Equality Index, companies will be able to measure their progress in terms of professional equality. In the form of a score out of 100, the index is composed of five main criteria that assess inequalities between women and men in companies.
