Diverse perspectives, expertise and experiences are essential to turn innovative ideas and technologies into VALUE for patients. At our innovation lab (I-Lab), we combine external science with internal capabilities to develop the next generation of breakthrough medicines. We achieve this through two complementary ways: Open Innovation and External R&D.

Our Open Innovation strategy is anchored in our Saku-Labs™, incubator laboratory spaces for start-ups and academic partners, and embedded research units within leading academic institutions. Through external R&D, we aim to seamlessly integrate a wide variety of external innovations through diverse partnerships with ambitious biotechnology companies.
