Executive Director and Head of US Strategy and Planning
Michael Senical is Executive Director and Head of US Strategy and Planning at Astellas Pharma US, responsible for leading the strategic direction for the US-business including execution of strategic initiatives. He is a member of the Astellas US Management Committee and also serves as Chief of Staff to Mark Reisenauer, President, Astellas Pharma US.
Michael is an experienced leader with more than 20 years of healthcare experience spanning pharmaceuticals, management consulting and diagnostics with broad geographic exposure across US, EU, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific. Since joining Astellas in 2016 he has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the commercial organization.
Michael earned an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from Northwestern University, a Master of Science degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Western Michigan University.
