Senior Vice President of Market Access and Commercial Capabilities
Lei Ding is Senior Vice President of Market Access and Commercial Capabilities at Astellas Pharma, Inc. She is responsible for setting the strategic agenda for Astellas Pharma US, with a focus on operationalizing commercial capabilities to ensure access to Astellas medicines among healthcare providers, payers and patients.
Lei has more than 22 years of industry experience specializing in growing market access for the duration of a product’s lifecycle. She most recently served as Vice President, Market Access and Pricing at Astellas. Since joining the company in 2009, she has led multiple new product launch and lifecycle pricing strategies, contract negotiations, market access strategy development and execution.
Prior to Astellas, Lei held leadership positions in contracts and pricing, business insights, forecasting, commercial planning and portfolio management at Takeda Pharmaceuticals and TAP Pharmaceuticals.
Lei earned an MBA in Finance from Washington University and a master’s degree in Information Systems from Northwestern University.
