Further information on PRTR system

Japan's PRTR Act designate substances harmful to human beings and recognized to widely exist in the environment. The main aim of these laws is to confirm the nature of the emissions and movement-generated materials of a company, and to result in the company's independent assessment and improvement of its management of chemical substances. The table below shows the release and transfer of PRTR-designated substances that we identified and reported on in fiscal 2016. Our total amount of release into the environment of designated chemical substances in fiscal 2016 was 8 tons.




PRTR : Refers to chemical substances designated under Japan's Act on Confirmation, etc. of Release Amounts of Specific Chemical Substances in the Environment and Promotion of Improvements to the Management Thereof (Pollutant Release and Transfer Register Law)
