Astellas contributes once again to the support of the society. As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, Astellas brings the spring to the hearts of the children of Chatzikiriakeio Institution of Childhood Protection and changes for the better tomorrow.

Astellas employees were again the best ambassadors of the volunteer initiative “Changing Tomorrow Day”, with the activity held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at the Chatzikiriakeio Institution of Childhood Protection. In an atmosphere of teamwork and collaboration, the children of the Chatzikiriakeio Institution, along with Astellas employees, participated in interactive and fun games and constructed 30 bicycles that Astellas donated to the Institution. All in a festive mood with children smiles and a spring feeling.

Mr. Charalambos Nardis, Chairman of the BoD & Managing Director of Astellas, made the following statement: "Since its first years in 2005, Astellas has had as its core goal to be a valuable member of society and corporate social responsibility to be an integral part of our vision and philosophy.

Our people are the driving force behind our corporate practice, and that is why today we are close to the children of the Chatzikiriakeio Institution to meet some of their needs. Our contribution to society and our response to the needs of the day is not only part of our business practice, but also a unique base for collective awareness, information and care for socially vulnerable groups. "

The “Changing Tomorrow Day” volunteer initiative is an Astellas institution and it is part of its continuing commitment to support socially vulnerable groups in the societies, where the company operates. With the participation of the company’s employees and a wide range of activities, such as volunteer work at Foundations and Associations - non-profit and public utility -, offering to vulnerable social groups, but also providing emergency assistance to areas affected by natural disasters.
