Astellas has entered into a collaboration agreement with BioLabs Global, Inc. (Founder and CEO: Johannes Fruehauf, “BioLabs”), an internationally recognized innovation laboratory platform operating a network of shared lab and office workspaces for life science. Together, both companies will actively support SakuLab users and enhance the life science innovation ecosystem in Tsukuba, Japan.
This collaboration will enable both organizations to leverage each other’s strengths and drive innovation in the healthcare industry. Astellas and BioLabs will co-conduct networking events and programming opportunities and allow SakuLab users to connect with the BioLabs’ global life science ecosystem including scientific experts, industry collaborators and sources of funding. We aim to accelerate the development of breakthrough solutions that will revolutionize healthcare and improve patient outcomes, with this collaboration.
This collaboration is an extension of the activities in accordance with the Astellas, BioLabs, and Mitsui Fudosan MOU announced last year, and is designed to stimulate creative interaction and collaboration and offer access to the wide resources of Astellas’ world class capabilities and teams.
