TIME TRAVELER starts activities at SakuLab^TM-Tsukuba

TIME TRAVELER, Corp. (co-CEO: Tomoatsu Hayashi, Rieko Akiyama, “TIME TRAVELER”) has begun their new activities at SakuLab^TM-Tsukuba.

TIME TRAVELER is a startup company focused on advancing research based on findings of the Department of Molecular and Genetic Information (Prof. Tetsu Akiyama) at the Institute for Quantitative Biosciences, the University of Tokyo. The company is developing products leveraging molecules (antibodies, small molecule compounds, and nucleic acid drugs) which they believe will inhibit the function of aging genes.

TIME TRAVELER won the Research and Technology Seeds Pitch Contest for Innovative Cancer Treatments, co-organized by LINK-J and Astellas Pharma Inc. and received the right to use the SakuLab^TM-Tsukuba as the grand prize.

SakuLab^TM-Tsukuba is an open innovation laboratory located at Astellas’ Tsukuba Research Center in Japan. Lab users have access to ready-to-use lab equipment and non-confidential consultation on a wide range of drug discovery research activities and networking opportunities with Astellas’ scientists.
