Introduction of automatic text reading service "ReadSpeaker SayIt"

Astellas Pharma Inc. introduced an automatic text reading service "ReadSpeaker SayIt", provided by ReadSpeaker Japan Co. Ltd., to its website for convenience of elderly and those who feel difficulty in reading long text on the website.

• Automatic text reading is activated by clicking button in the page where it is installed and it reads the text area set in source.
• The use of this service is free of charge.
• No special preparation at visitor's computer is required.
• Because it is automatic text to sound conversion by computer, the reading may not always be correct especially if it was personal name, geographic name, proper name, abbreviation, etc.
• Astellas Pharma Inc. is not responsible for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly as a result of the use of this service. The use of this service must be taken by user's judgment and responsibility.
